Aura Education is recruiting for a prominent primary SEND school in the heart of Liverpool, looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join their team for the entire academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Providing one on‑one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individualized education plans (IEPs) are met.
  • Assisting classroom teachers in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implementing strategies to help students develop their communication, social, and academic skills.
  • Offering emotional support to children, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Collaborating with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to assess, plan, and monitor the progress of students.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supporting children with Special Needs, with a particular focus on autism spectrum disorder.
