Aura Education are looking for a patient and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception (aged 4-5 years) at our vibrant primary school in the L15 area of Liverpool. This full-time role will involve working closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support, ensuring the child can fully engage in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for a child in the reception class, helping them with classroom activities and social interaction.
- Assist the child in developing foundational learning skills in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Support the child’s emotional and social well-being, helping them to build confidence and develop relationships with peers.
- Follow the child's personalized learning plan and provide regular updates to the class teacher and SENCO.
- Help foster an inclusive and supportive environment within the classroom.
- Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a one-to-one or early years setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and how to support early learning.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to working with young children.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs or learning difficulties is an advantage.
Salary: £100-£106 per day.
