About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in North Liverpool. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for the full academic year, based within our Special Educational Needs (SEN) Hub, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the SEN team, class teachers and external professionals to provide high-quality support that enables pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including communication and interaction, cognition and learning, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
- Adapt learning resources and teaching strategies to meet individual pupil needs.
- Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
