Location: L12, Liverpool

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Contract: Long-term (remainder of the academic year)

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming infant school in the L12 area of Liverpool. This role involves supporting the development and learning of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring they receive the best possible start to their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with play-based activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to support children's individual needs
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Experience working in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the well-being of young children
