Our technology supports credit, investment, ESG, and compliance workflows for leading firms including Goldman Sachs, UBS, CVC, and MetLife. Today, 40% of the world’s top 50 financial institutions use Auquan to remove manual processes, speed up decision‑making, and achieve greater strategic impact.
We’re expanding our ESG Risk & Compliance business and looking for an exceptional Outcome Engineer to design, build, and deliver AI‑driven ESG risk workflows for top private equity, private credit, asset managers, and banks. You’ll combine domain expertise, analytical rigor, and client‑facing excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Own a portfolio of ESG/Risk clients
- Understand their ESG, Risk & Compliance (ERC) workflows end‑to‑end
- Define measurable outcomes, KPIs, and ROI for automation initiatives
- Translate ambiguous requirements into structured AI‑agent workflows
- Design tests, edge cases, and evaluation frameworks to ensure accuracy and auditability
- Lead multi‑threaded client projects across Business, Security, and Procurement
- Own pilots through production, expansion, and renewals
- Drive adoption: build super‑users, internal champions, and daily usage cadences
- Identify new use cases, teams, and regions to expand ERC automation
- Partner across Auquan (Sales, Product, Engineering)
- Turn workflows into reusable templates and components for scalable reuse
- Shape and deliver Auquan’s ERC roadmap based on client patterns and market signals
- Feed client insights into GTM strategy, playbooks, pitches, and case studies
- Represent Auquan as an ESG risk SME with clients, analysts, and partners
- Publish market insights and best practices as part of Auquan’s thought leadership
- Mentor junior team members and help grow a high‑performing ERC pod
- Over time, you’ll grow into a business owner for the ESG Risk & Compliance line, influencing revenue targets, pricing, segmentation, and use‑case strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Must‑Haves
- Solid hands‑on experience in ESG due diligence, sustainability reporting, compliance operations, or ESG risk analysis
- Strong working knowledge of ESG risks, controversies, sustainability standards, and frameworks (SFDR, UNGC, OECD, SASB, etc.)
- Strong intuition for prompt engineering and designing AI‑driven workflows
- Analytical mindset with Python/SQL fundamentals (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Exposure to automation tools, data pipelines, or AI products
- Experience working with institutional clients (PE, private credit, asset managers, banks, consulting, ESG vendors)
- Ability to run discovery, shape requirements, and deliver technical output in business‑friendly language
- Track record of shipping complex, ambiguous projects with speed and autonomy
- Evidence of commercial impact (upsells, renewals, expansion, new logos)
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Background in consulting, risk advisory, product, or solutions engineering
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, workflow automation
- Python proficiency for lightweight automation
- Understanding of private equity, credit, and asset‑management workflows
