About the Company
Auquan is a pioneering AI company transforming financial services by automating deep, complex knowledge work. With intelligent AI agents we help finance professionals eliminate manual processes and make faster, smarter decisions. Trusted by 40% of the top 50 global financial firms and backed by top-tier investors, we are at the forefront of autonomous agentic AI in finance.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a GTM Lead to turn Auquan’s product and proof into pipeline. You will own the full marketing engine, from storytelling to lead attraction and demo-to-revenue conversion. Your role is a growth and storytelling function – strategist, operator, and builder – partnering directly with the CEO and Sales to deliver a marketing system that consistently produces qualified inbound demos and improves demo-to-deal conversion.
What You’ll Own
- Demand Generation (Lead Engine)
- Build and scale a demand generation engine focused on qualified inbound leads and demo-to-deal conversion.
- Deeply understand Credit, ESG, and Investment workflows.
- Execute targeted LinkedIn, ABM, and event campaigns to reach key personas.
- Partner with Sales on ICP targeting, lead qualification, and messaging.
- Set up HubSpot workflows, attribution models, and dashboards for real-time performance.
- Ensure every piece of content and campaign drives immediate demos or builds long-term awareness.
- Sales Enablement and Conversion Optimization (Demo → Deal)
- Turn every customer deployment into a repeatable marketing proof engine with ongoing content updates.
- Own creative direction for campaigns and collateral, ensuring high-quality visual standards.
- Run experiments on narratives, audiences, and formats to maximize ROI.
- Create sales materials: decks, one-pagers, competitive intelligence, case studies, ROI calculators.
- Achieve aggressive pipeline and revenue targets with full accountability for marketing-sourced opportunities.
- Product Marketing and Storytelling
- Develop positioning that turns technical capabilities into business value.
- Shape the narrative for the finance automation category across conferences, analyst reports, and social channels.
- Launch playbooks for new workflows and SKUs: landing pages, use-case videos, and enablement kits.
- Partner with Product to articulate customer pain points and roadmap storytelling.
- Analytics & Optimization
- Own funnel metrics: MQLs, SQLs, pipeline velocity, CAC, win rates, and revenue contribution.
- Create real-time dashboards for pipeline performance and campaign ROI.
- Use analytics to identify demo stalls and improve conversion by 20%+ within six months.
Your New Team
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to shape GTM plans. Iterate messaging based on Sales feedback and customer objections. Manage contractors (design, copy, media buying) and lead brand positioning, PR, and analyst relations. Operate hands-on initially, with a plan to build a specialist team as pipeline scales.
What We Offer
- Competitive package designed to reward impact, including meaningful equity.
- Flexible time off and comprehensive health coverage.
- High-impact role owning marketing’s contribution to revenue.
- World-class team of engineers, operators, and finance experts.
- Opportunity to define the leader in agentic AI for institutional finance.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing leadership, owning full marketing functions and inbound growth engines for enterprise/ high-ACV SaaS.
- Deep product marketing expertise translating AI or data products into business value.
- Proven success partnering with Sales to improve demo-to-deal conversion.
- Success measured by demo-to-deal conversion and win rate, not download metrics.
- Hands-on operator comfortable running LinkedIn and ABM campaigns, copy, landing pages, and HubSpot end-to-end.
- Fluent in funnel analytics, attribution, CAC/LTV, and pipeline forecasting.
- Exceptional storytelling with strong writing skills for finance and AI concepts.
- Autonomous, founder-level ownership with clarity, speed, and measurable outcomes.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience marketing to institutional finance audiences and executive buyers.
- Track record launching emerging AI or automation technologies for enterprise adoption.
- Ability to define or shape a new product category in high-trust or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester, Celent) and conference storytelling.
- Creative judgment ensuring elite, finance-grade campaign standards.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Built a growth engine at an early-stage B2B SaaS company through a major growth phase.
- Thrived in ambiguity when the market doesn’t yet know what to call your product.
- Turned customer success into proof-driven marketing rhythms that built category credibility.
- Distilled complex AI workflows into simple, memorable narratives that capture executive attention.
- Balanced marketing trust with innovation and polished creative execution.
- Portfolio of materials (case studies, decks, narratives, campaigns) that changed perception or accelerated pipeline.
How To Apply
Send resume and a brief note covering:
- How you built and scaled a marketing engine that directly drove pipeline or revenue.
- A short example of writing or campaign copy that shows how you tell a complex story simply.
- An example of a campaign, story, or product launch that changed how people viewed a product or category.
