Job Description

  • Ensure detailed work instructions are being followed to receive deliveries, make stock transfers and movements.
  • Ensure all picking requirements are completed accurately and on time to meet customer needs.
  • Make sure all orders are packaged and labelled as per the required specification.
  • Prepare and marshal items for collection and delivery.
  • Escalate accordingly any differences identified between physical and theoretical stocks.
  • Record and store paperwork electronically as required.
  • Follow quality standards and specifications at all times.
  • Raise any quality concerns over received goods.
  • Check that goods are shipped on time and in full to the customer.
  • Follow all procedures and PPE requirements to ensure there is no risk to health and safety.
  • Demonstrate a safe attitude to work.
  • Keep the workbench and office areas clean and tidy following the principles of 5S.
  • Maintain good housekeeping at all times throughout the warehouse.
  • Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement activity within the department.

Qualifications

  • Certified FLT driver
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience using computer based stock systems
