Opportunity within luxury performance Automotive OEM within the Aftersales team, to work within a well-established diagnostic team on diagnostic development.

Responsibilities
- Author content for guided diagnostics using ODIS-Creator or other diagnostic tools.
- Author Diagnostics documentation.
- Collaborate with development engineers on process optimization and initiate diagnostic change requests.
- Query ODX databases.
- Validate ODX data using simulation, test rigs, and pre-production vehicles.
- Develop and maintain simulation environments to support validation of new diagnostic content.
- Validate diagnostics software releases against design specifications and coordinate with the team to address bugs and issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in Automotive Electrical Engineering diagnostics; knowledge of developing diagnostics using VW ODIS-Creator is ideal; Bosch GradeX is advantageous.
- Ability to work in Crewe, Cheshire for 3+ days/week.
- Ability to interpret CAN logs.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, processes, rules, and internal decision-making structures.
- Knowledge of 12V conventional vehicle systems architecture; HV electronics vehicle architecture is ideal (training provided).
- Risk management, problem resolution, lessons learned, escalation, and root cause knowledge is ideal.
- Effective communication with customers and ability to collaborate with customer teams.
- Willingness to travel to support customer projects at multiple UK locations.

- CAN logging and analysis tools (Vector CANdela Studio/CANalyser/CANape & third party).
