Are you ready to lead one of the most commercially impactful digital media disciplines across a global financial services firm? This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic channel leadership with hands‑on campaign expertise, working at the intersection of media, data, technology, and customer growth — at scale, across multiple markets and brands. As a Programmatic Display Manager at JPMorganChase within the EMEA Media team, you will own the strategy, planning, activation, and optimisation of Programmatic Display, YouTube Ads, and Demand Generation activity across multiple markets, brands, and products. You will bring together performance signals, commercial judgement, and cross‑functional collaboration to prioritise the opportunities with the greatest business impact — while helping to shape the team's capability and ways of working as the function continues to evolve.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and own Programmatic Display, YouTube Ads, and Demand Generation channel strategies that translate business and campaign objectives into clear, prioritised plans across markets and brands.
- Directly set up, activate, manage, and optimise campaigns across relevant platforms — including budget pacing, bidding, audience targeting, inventory, creative rotation, and troubleshooting.
- Assess competing opportunities across markets, brands, and products and recommend where investment, optimisation, and team capacity should be focused based on commercial impact, customer value, and delivery feasibility.
- Monitor campaign and customer outcomes, diagnose performance drivers, and take timely action to improve acquisition efficiency, customer quality, and overall media effectiveness.
- Develop the role of YouTube and platform‑native demand formats across the customer journey, connecting consideration, demand creation, and measurable customer outcomes.
- Partner with Analytics and Technology teams to improve tracking, reporting, attribution, incrementality, and the use of customer‑value signals in planning and optimisation.
- Ensure all campaigns meet brand, legal, privacy, financial promotion, brand safety, and internal control requirements, maintaining clear and auditable records across approvals, quality assurance, and campaign changes.
- Brief, challenge, and hold agencies, platforms, publishers, and technology partners accountable for the quality, pace, and commercial impact of their work.
- Collaborate closely with Media, Campaign, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to align channel activity with business priorities and customer needs.
- Mentor junior colleagues and help establish clear operating procedures, quality standards, and escalation routes to support team growth and scalability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on product management concepts and applied experience.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience planning, activating, and optimising Programmatic Display campaigns through leading demand‑side platforms.
- Proven experience managing YouTube and online video campaigns, including audience strategy, creative, bidding, inventory, and measurement.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into channel strategies, investment decisions, and optimisation actions with clear commercial rationale.
- Experience managing material media budgets, pacing investment, and balancing growth, customer quality, cost, and operational capacity.
- Strong ability to interpret performance and customer data, diagnose issues, and identify opportunities independently.
- Experience managing agencies, media platforms, or technology partners, including constructive challenge and delivery accountability.
- Experience working within governance, compliance, or regulated marketing environments, with strong attention to detail and control execution.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience using DSPs and MMPs or comparable platform‑native formats as part of an integrated media strategy.
- Cross‑channel experience preferred.
- In‑app acquisition campaign management preferred.
- Familiarity with incrementality testing, advanced attribution methodologies, and the application of customer‑value signals in media planning.
- Experience supporting or managing distributed delivery teams, including offshore or nearshore execution resources.
