Aulds is a long-standing, family-run bakery business supplying our own retail shops, wholesale customers and partners across the west of Scotland. We are looking for a practical, organised and detail-focused Retail & Partner Standards Coordinator to support our shops and partner locations by carrying out regular visits, audits and follow‑up actions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, high standards and the confidence to speak up when something is not right. You will spend much of your time visiting shops and partner locations, checking product presentation, displays, ordering standards, paperwork and general execution. You will complete audits using a modern tablet-based system, including photos and clear action points, then work with the relevant internal teams to make sure issues are followed up properly and opportunities to improve optimised.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out regular standards visits across Aulds retail shops and partner locations.
- Completing audits using a modern tablet-based system, including photos, comments and action points.
- Checking product displays, cabinet standards, merchandising, planograms and general presentation.
- Reviewing order accuracy, stock levels, returns, sell‑out information and paperwork where required.
- Ensuring products are displayed correctly and in line with Aulds standards.
- Identifying issues in-store and communicating them clearly to the relevant manager or team.
- Working closely with the office team responsible for orders and customer communication.
- Supporting the Retail Sales Manager and wider sales team with clear feedback from store visits.
- Liaising with technical, production or development teams where product standards or information need to be clarified.
- Following up on repeat issues to make sure standards are actually being improved.
- Supporting seasonal, promotional and range changes where required.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot when something is not right.
- Confidence to challenge poor standards in a fair and professional way.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Comfortable travelling between shops and partner locations.
- Able to complete reports clearly and accurately using a tablet-based system.
- Practical, hands‑on and comfortable working in a fast‑moving retail or food environment.
- Experience in retail, food, merchandising, auditing, standards, customer service or administration would be beneficial.
- A positive but firm approach, with the ability to build relationships while still holding standards.
- Full UK driving licence essential due to travel between locations.
This is a standards and communication role. We are looking for someone who notices the detail, follows up properly and helps make sure the basics are being done consistently.
Why Join Aulds?
- Part‑time role, ideally 3 days per week, with some flexibility for the right person.
- Full training provided on our audit process, standards and tablet‑based reporting system.
- The opportunity to build experience across retail, food, customer standards and internal operations.
- A varied role working across shops, partners and internal teams.
- A practical, hands‑on environment where your work will have a visible impact.
- The chance to help improve standards, consistency and customer presentation across the business.
