Aukett Swanke is seeking an experienced Associate Interior Designer to join our growing interiors team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished designer who enjoys leading projects and building client relationships to work alongside the director to manage client relationships and help deliver outstanding workplace, hospitality and commercial interiors. You’ll lead projects from concept through completion, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality workplace and commercial interiors.

About the role

  • Lead multiple interior design projects from concept to completion
  • Build trusted client relationships and present design concepts with confidence
  • Assist in the development of project teams, ensuring exceptional design quality
  • Manage project programmes, resources and commercial performance
  • Coordinate consultants and oversee technical delivery
  • Support business development, bids and client presentations
  • Support the director and contribute to studio leadership, recruitment and in the development of the interiors team and successful delivery of the interiors portfolio

About you

  • You’ll be an experienced interior designer with strong design, presentation and client-facing skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of fees, programmes and project profitability
  • A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering outstanding design
  • Experience using Revit is highly desirable
