The Opportunity

We’re seeking a talented Façade Engineer to join our dynamic consultancy team at our Head Office in Wolverhampton. About the Role

As a Façade Engineer at Wintech, you’ll contribute to a wide range of exciting projects, from landmark new builds to sustainable refurbishments. You’ll work closely with colleagues, architects, structural engineers, and contractors to develop high‑performing, buildable façade solutions, guiding designs from concept through to completion. At Wintech, we are industry pioneers, helping to shape façade engineering best practices and standards. We look ahead—supporting our clients through Building Safety Act Gateway compliance and helping them transition their projects toward Net Zero carbon goals. We’re with our clients every step of the way, providing expert guidance across the entire project lifecycle to deliver best practice approach and meet government regulations, whilst supporting their project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending client meetings.
  • Carrying out technical audits of façade subcontractor tenders.
  • Visiting site to monitor and advise the subcontractor.
  • Producing detailed technical reports.
  • Reviewing structural calculations.
  • Witnessing laboratory and on-site testing and carrying out a final review.
  • Working closely with the in‑house Project Manager to manage the Client’s expectations both pre and post site visit.
  • Liaising with commercial colleagues and the in‑house Project Manager to establish further services the client may require.
  • Liaising with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing is completed in a timely manner.

About You

  • Bachelor’s engineering degree.
  • Master’s degree in Façade Engineering (desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks and workload.
  • Professional attitude and strong values.
