Socotec UK Building & Real Estate division seeks an experienced Associate Director - Facades to lead the Facade business unit, ensuring high quality engineering and compliance services and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Facade business unit: profit and loss, recruitment, strategy and commercial management.
- Provide continuous high quality engineering and compliance services including external wall investigations/surveys, risk assessments (e.g., FRAEW, PAS9980, EWS 1), and façade design and engineering consultancy.
- Identify new work opportunities, engage with potential clients and other professionals, and prepare and review fee proposal letters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (fire, façade, structural, civil or similar field) and achieved chartership and full membership with a relevant professional body.
- At least 8 years of experience in construction, engineering or consultancy with experience in fire safety design on façade systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, self motivated, able to prioritise and work independently as well as in a team.
