This could be your opportunity to excel as a Graduate Façade Engineer, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Façade Engineer to join the Façade Fire Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in façade or fire engineering, along with knowledge of external wall systems and relevant fire safety legislation, is essential to thrive in this position.
Responsibilities
- Preparing Fire Risk Appraisal reports to PAS 9980 and assessing external wall systems
- Delivering façade fire engineering assessments, site inspections and technical advisory services
- Supporting façade design engineering projects and undertaking third‑party reviews
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Knowledge of façade or fire engineering and relevant legislation
- Proactive, reliable and flexible attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively
