AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Façade Engineer / Senior Façade Engineer to join our team in London or one of our regional UK offices. We are looking for a technically capable individual with good verbal, graphical and written communication skills.

The role involves delivering façade engineering services across a varied portfolio of projects, from remedial surveys and inspections through to new‑build developments of up to £100m. Successful candidates will be confident in client liaison and design team coordination, and will take a proactive approach to solving technical challenges. You will contribute to the continued growth of a collaborative and dynamic façades team.

Your role

  • Lead the technical delivery of façade engineering services on single‑discipline and multidisciplinary projects
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities
  • Contribute to bid preparation and work‑winning
  • Engage with internal technical networks and promote façade engineering expertise across AtkinsRéalis

About You

  • Chartered Engineer or qualified Architect status preferred (or working towards professional qualification)
  • Experience in façade design and detailing, or on projects where façades have been a key component
  • Ability to work independently in at least three of the following areas: structural analysis, thermal analysis, embodied carbon assessment, specification writing, concept design, glazing and curtain walling design, production of detailed drawings, façade condition surveys, forensic investigations
  • Experience managing resources and budgets, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, inquisitive mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure
