Company Overview

August is a full‑service real estate development and lifestyle company based in London, specialising in luxury holiday home collections across Europe. We carefully curate and manage collections of beautifully designed homes in prime destinations, combining real estate, hospitality, and design to provide our homeowners with a seamless second‑home experience. Founded in 2018, August has grown to become a premier platform for luxury holiday homes across more than eleven European markets.

The Role

This is a top‑of‑funnel sales role. You will be the first human voice that a prospective homeowner hears — and the quality of that first conversation sets the tone for everything that follows. Your primary responsibility is to call all new inbound enquiries promptly and professionally, with the goal of converting them into a first meeting with one of our Senior Advisors. You will be working with a genuinely high‑net‑worth clientele making considered, long‑term lifestyle decisions — this is not a transactional environment, but pace and responsiveness still matter enormously. If you’re early in your career and looking for a way into premium sales — with real exposure to how high‑value relationships are built — this is an excellent place to start.

What You’ll Do

  • Call all new inbound enquiries promptly — you own this stage of the pipeline and the speed and quality of your outreach will directly shape the homeowner’s first impression of August.
  • Qualify prospects through thoughtful, well‑paced conversations: understanding their interest, timeline, and fit before passing them through to a Senior Advisor.
  • Book first meetings between qualified prospects and the Advisory team, ensuring every handover is warm, informed, and well‑timed.
  • Manage follow‑ups with care — not every enquiry converts immediately, and knowing how to stay in touch without feeling pushy is a real skill we’ll help you develop.
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot after every call and conversation, keeping the pipeline clean and the wider team well‑informed.
  • Build your product knowledge over time so that your conversations carry genuine credibility — working closely with Sales Managers and Senior Advisors to understand the August proposition.

About You

We’re looking for someone who picks up the phone without hesitation. The right person for this role is confident, articulate, and genuinely energised by conversation — not someone who needs to be convinced to make a call. You communicate with confidence and clarity — your spoken and written English is excellent, and you naturally adapt your tone to the person you’re speaking with. You’re resilient. Rejections and unanswered calls don’t derail you — you stay consistent, keep your energy up, and focus on the next conversation. You’re organised and on it: you follow up when you say you will, keep your records tidy, and don’t let things slip through. You’re curious about people and genuinely interested in what makes them tick — this comes through in the quality of your listening as much as your speaking. You’re early in your career (0–1 years of experience) and motivated to learn how premium sales really works from the inside. You have an instinctive appreciation for quality, discretion, and the kind of experience August is built around.

Hours and Location

Monday and Friday: 9am–6pm in the London office. Tuesday to Thursday: remote, 11am–8pm (to cover North American time zones). You must be eligible to work in the UK.

What You’ll Receive

  • National Living Wage (£12.21 per hour), paid monthly.
  • 28 days paid holiday, pro rata.
  • A company‑provided laptop.
  • Structured onboarding and regular one‑to‑ones with your manager.
  • Direct exposure to high‑net‑worth client relationships and premium advisory sales — a genuinely strong foundation for a career in this space.
  • A real pathway to a permanent role for the right person.

August Values

  • Urgency — We act promptly, purposefully, and with care.
  • Excellence — We hold ourselves to high standards and keep rising them.
  • Resourcefulness — We embrace challenges and find thoughtful ways through them.
  • Ownership Mindset — We take pride in our work and hold ourselves accountable.
  • Communication and Openness — We are transparent, collaborative, and constructive.
  • Kindness — We value our people and treat each other with generosity and consideration.
