Financial Accountant
Basingstoke, Hampshire Reporting to: Group Financial Controller
Are you a qualified or near-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a fast-growing and dynamic business, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their UK finance team in a role offering real responsibility, variety, and progression.
The Role
You?ll play a key part in the day-to-day financial operations of the group, including:
- Managing the nominal and sales ledgers
- Bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, and WIP reporting
- Supporting month end accounts and financial reporting
- Assisting with statutory accounts, tax, and audits
- Managing intercompany reconciliations
About You
- ACA / ACCA part qualified or newly qualified
- Strong Excel and general ledger experience
- Solid understanding of financial reporting
- Proactive, organised, and confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator who works well across teams
