We're looking for a Degree Apprentice to join the Auger Team, based at our Head Office in Wallasey. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to pursue one of the LJMU Built Environment courses while gaining valuable industry experience. The Auger Academy offers a unique combination of hands-on work experience and academic study towards higher education qualifications. Successful candidates will receive a competitive starting salary while attending university on a day-release basis, with all tuition fees fully funded by the company.

- Full Time – 37.5hrs per week
- One day per week allocated to study (during term time)

The Role
You will play a key role in managing the technical and customer service aspects of drainage, watermains, and subsidence insurance claims. You will be trained to:
- Handle the technical and customer service aspects of insurance claims
- Ensure claims are managed promptly, efficiently, and cost-effectively
- Deliver excellent customer care, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout
- Assess liability and determine appropriate outcomes for claims
- Prepare proposals, reports, and quotations for on-site works
- Support the coordination and delivery of investigations and repairs
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, engineers, and external stakeholders
From day one, you’ll be actively involved in real cases, developing practical knowledge and skills for a long-term career in the construction and insurance sectors.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A–C / 4–9) including Maths and English
- On track for or achieved at least 112 UCAS points
