We are looking for a Groundworks Assistant to join the Auger Team, covering Southampton. Our total package is worth £31,884.00 without overtime.

Financials:
- Starting Salary - £28,089.10
- Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500
- 5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1484
- Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate e.g. 10 days would top up the package to £33,504.53
Working Hours:
- 42.5 hrs per week, Mon-Fri only & NO on-call work
- We pay door-to-door including all driving time
- Go straight to your job from home – you don’t have to report to a depot or yard first
- Limited stay-aways, with bonuses/annual leave for more than 3 overnights per quarter

- Assist our experienced Engineers to complete a variety of jobs including repairs, investigations, excavations and reinstatement works
- Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required
- Learn all aspects of every engineering role at Auger
- Specialise in one area after a year and aim to become a junior engineer
- Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ
Preferred Experience:
- No previous experience is essential – we will provide you with all the training you need
- Some experience of groundworks preferable
