We're looking for a Drainage & Subsidence Assistant to join the Auger Team, covering Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Our total package is worth £31,884.00 without overtime.

Financials
- Starting Salary - £28,089.10
- Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500
- 5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1484
Overtime
- Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £33,504.53
Working Hours
- 42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri only &NOon-call work
- We paydoor-to-doorincludingalldriving time
- Go straight to your job from home - you don't have to report to a depot or yard first
- Limited stay-aways, with bonuses/annual leave for more than 3 overnights per quarter

The Role
- Assist our experienced Engineers to complete a variety of jobs including repairs, investigations, excavations and reinstatement works
- Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required
- Learn all aspects of every engineering role at Auger, including how to carry out subsidence investigations
- Specialise in one area after a year, with the opportunity to progress to Junior Engineer and, with the right development and commitment, a fully qualified Engineer
- Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ
Preferred Experience
- No previous experience is essential – we will provide you with all the training you need
- Some experience of groundworks or preferable
