We're looking for a Drainage Investigation Engineer to join the Auger Team, covering Motherwell. Our total package is worth £36,412 - £40,603 without overtime.

Financials:
- Starting Salary - £32,381 - £36,353 dependent on experience
- Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500
- 5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1781 - £1999
Overtime:
- Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £38,280 - £42,700
Working Hours:
- 42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri only & NO on-call work
- We pay door-to-door including all driving time

The Role:
- Independently investigate drainage systems and recommend appropriate repairs
- Logically establish ownership and the cause of the customer's issue
- Confidently talk our customer through the works, giving them peace of mind
- Complete trial holes to locate foundations and collect soil & root samples
- Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ
- Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required
Preferred Experience:
- Use of CCTV Camera, including recording & labelling
- Use of CAT scanner to identify buried services & trace existing metallic supply
- Reinstatement of surfaces inc. paving slabs, block paving, cold lay tarmac, concrete, etc.
- Ability to complete small repairs eg replacements of gullies, restbends or sections of pipework
