We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager or TA Lead, ideally in a multi-site or operational environment to lead the function. This is a full-time, permanent role working in a hybrid capacity from our Honiton site with expected regular national travel to sites. The role is paying up to £45,000 plus car allowance with excellent benefits.
About the role
In this critical role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end hiring while embedding an effective Recruitment function across a multi-site, operational business. From direct sourcing strategies to early careers pipelines, you’ll shape a function that is scalable, data-driven, and aligned to business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and embed a consistent, end-to-end recruitment model
- Translate workforce plans into clear hiring strategies
- Improve quality, pace, and consistency of hiring
- Reduce agency reliance through strong direct sourcing capability
- Standardise processes, optimise ATS, and introduce best-practice assessment methods
- Build hiring manager capability through coaching and toolkits
- Design and launch early careers programmes (graduates, apprenticeships, placements)
- Create sustainable talent pipelines for critical roles
- Work closely with senior leaders to shape hiring plans and decisions
- Provide market insight and challenge where needed
- Use data to inform decisions and continuously improve
- Manage agency partners through a structured PSL, driving quality and cost control
What We’re Looking For
- Experience embedding a recruitment strategy and delivering training across the business on best practice
- A track record of improving direct sourcing and reducing agency reliance
- Strong stakeholder influence at senior level
- A commercial, data-driven mindset
- Passion for building scalable, future-focused talent solutions
- A full UK driving licence (Experience in industrial, engineering, or utilities sectors is a bonus — but not essential.)
