We’re looking for a high-impact Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Industrial Services division, identifying opportunities, winning new business, and ensuring seamless handover into operational delivery. This is a full-time, permanent role paying up to £55,000 plus car allowance, private healthcare and more.
About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across key sectors including: AD Plants, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing. Working across Yorkshire and beyond, you’ll lead the full business development lifecycle from initial enquiry through to contract award and delivery alignment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving new business and account growth aligned to strategic targets
- Building and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Leading tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Collaborating with operations to ensure safe, efficient service delivery
- Identifying market trends, competitor activity, and new sector opportunities
- Acting as a trusted partner to customers, ensuring exceptional service
- Promoting and embedding a strong health, safety & environmental culture
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in business development within industrial services or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot and convert opportunities
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience managing tenders, contracts, and customer relationships
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Pipedrive)
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- NEBOSH/IOSH or similar safety qualification
