Augean is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the safe, compliant and commercially effective operation of two sites in Kings Cliffe.
This is a senior operational leadership role with full responsibility for site performance, people leadership, compliance, operational planning and profitability.
This is a full time role working on a 12 month fixed term contract, where you required to be on-site.
As Site Manager, you will provide visible leadership across the sites, ensuring that Health & Safety, environmental compliance and operational performance standards are consistently achieved.
Developing and delivering annual business plans in partnership with the Commercial Team.
Planning future landfill cell locations and supporting business-critical engineering projects.
Managing site P&L, spend, KPIs and operational performance.
Supporting compliant waste treatment, disposal and transport operations.
We are looking for a confident and commercially minded operational leader with strong experience in the waste, hazardous waste, landfill, quarrying, restoration or heavy industrial sectors.
Experience in hazardous waste management and/or the waste industry.
Strong people management and team development experience.
Experience of landfill cell engineering, civil engineering or operational project management.
Experience working with regulatory bodies, planning stakeholders or local communities.
The ability to develop and deliver commercially sound business plans.
WAMITAB COTC Level 4 in Treatment of Hazardous Waste.
WAMITAB COTC Level 4 Management of Hazardous Landfill.
WAMITAB COTC Level 4 in Transfer of Hazardous Waste.
NEBOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.
Full current driving licence.
