At Future Industrial Services (part of the Augean Group), we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Treatment & Transfer Division in the North West.
This is a highly autonomous role where you'll have the opportunity to shape your territory, influence commercial strategy, and play a key role in the continued success of a market-leading environmental services business.
The Opportunity
As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for developing profitable new business opportunities across the North West, focusing on hazardous waste treatment and transfer services.
You'll identify opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, develop technical solutions, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Working closely with operational, technical and commercial colleagues, you'll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to tender submission, contract negotiation and account development.
This is a field-based role covering the North West, with regular travel across the wider Northern region.
What You'll Be Doing
- Generating profitable new business opportunities across the region
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline
- Identifying customer needs and developing tailored waste management solutions
- Leading commercial negotiations and contract discussions
- Managing complex tender submissions and proposals
- Developing strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Working closely with operational and technical teams to ensure service excellence
- Monitoring market activity and competitor trends
- Maintaining accurate CRM and sales forecasts
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements
