The Role The Restaurant is set within our Audley Retirement village, the village has its own health club, library, fine dining restaurant, bar and luxury suites. Audley villages comprises of owners, who permanently reside on site within their own private homes but also hosts external customers. From the simple to the finest cuisine, beautiful settings in heritage buildings and, of course, the very best people. As our Restaurant Supervisor you will be an integral part in the smooth running of Audley villages and you’ll supervise the team to ensure that Audley Owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience. You will ensure the team adhere to legislative requirements such as COSHH, Fire safety, Health & Safety and Safeguarding of our owners. You will maintain high standards of comfort, cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bistro, restaurant and customer areas. You will set and maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and be equipped to deal with sudden employee shortages being able to deputise in any job capacity. Deal with complaints in a warm and empathetic way, as necessary. The Ideal Candidate: Food and beverage management experience in a 4* or higher hospitality environment. Knowledge of cash handling procedures, stock, wastage and par level control, rotas and unexpected situations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions. Hands on and flexible approach in order to be able to carry out a variety of tasks to the need of the village.
