Housekeeper in Leeds

Leeds Full-Time No working from home possible
A

At Audley, we’re proud of the exceptional environments we create for our owners and guests. Our luxury retirement villages are beautifully designed places to live, visit and work – and our housekeeping team plays a vital role in keeping them that way.

We’re looking for a Village Housekeeper to join our team, providing an exceptional housekeeping service across the village as well as within our owners’ private homes.

The Role

As a Village Housekeeper, you’ll help ensure our village always looks and feels its best.

Your role will be varied. One day you might be looking after our beautiful communal spaces and guest suites, and the next providing a housekeeping service within an owner’s home.

You’ll take pride in the small details, build positive relationships with our owners and deliver the same high standards wherever you are working.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining communal areas throughout the village to an exceptional standard.
  • Providing professional housekeeping services within owners’ private homes, including cleaning, changing bed linen and general household tasks.
  • Preparing and cleaning our guest suites, ensuring they are beautifully presented and ready for arriving guests.
  • Supporting laundry services, including washing, drying, ironing and folding.
  • Replenishing housekeeping supplies and ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, hazards or damaged equipment.
  • Respecting owners’ homes, belongings, privacy and individual preferences at all times.
  • Working closely with the wider village team to create a welcoming and exceptional environment for owners and guests.

About You

You don’t necessarily need to have worked in a retirement village before. We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about providing a great service and takes pride in doing a job well.

Previous experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning, hospitality or a similar environment would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

You’ll be:

  • Friendly, approachable and comfortable building relationships with our owners.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and respectful when working within someone’s home.
  • Someone with excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively.
  • Happy working independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Flexible and willing to support different areas of housekeeping across the village.

What Can We Offer You?

  • Work life balance
  • Company pension scheme, with a 5% company contribution
  • 28 days holiday (inclusive bank holidays) – Pro rata according to the contract
  • 50% discount on food and drinks at all of our restaurants nationwide
  • Guest suites at staff rates at all of our luxury villages nationwide
  • We can provide you with training and our online Audley Academy will help you build your skills.
  • Free membership to our employee discount portal with access to discounts at all major retailers.
  • Free membership to our Healthcare Cash Plan Scheme
  • Refer a friend bonus scheme
  • Free uniform and a lot more…
