Set within a 23-acre estate in Ben Rhydding, two miles from the historic spa town of Ilkley, the Clevedon restaurant in Ilkley, West Yorkshire is a unique and beautiful restaurant, bar and bistro offering a modern British menu. The Clevedon restaurant boasts well-crafted seasonal menus that employ locally sourced fresh produce, allowing diners to enjoy exquisite modern dining in a deluxe setting.
This is a 0 hour bank position. The Restaurant is set within our Audley Retirement village, which has its own health club, library, fine dining restaurant, bar and luxury suites. Audley villages comprise owners who permanently reside on site within their own private homes but also host external customers. From simple to the finest cuisine, beautiful settings in heritage buildings, and, of course, the very best people, we are serious about investing in our people’s training and development, making this a great place to build on your skills, take on a varied range of roles and develop your career in hospitality in double quick time.
As our Waiter / Waitress, you’ll ensure that Audley Owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience. Thanks to you, owners and guests who come to enjoy the exceptional food and surroundings at our restaurant and bistro will receive a warm welcome and seamless service. Whether you’re taking reservations, seating guests, advising on the menu, serving afternoon tea, promoting the village and our luxury spa, or sharing a joke with regulars, you’ll deliver an exceptional service. You’ll also help service our guest suites, answer owners’ enquiries, keep an eye on stock levels, help set up for special events, and maintain cleanliness.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in hospitality and handling cash (preferably).
- Taking pride in everything you do is an essential quality for this role.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and an organised approach that ensures tasks are completed.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities.
- Eager to learn and develop.
