The Restaurant is set within our Audley Retirement village, which has its own health club, library, fine dining restaurant, bar and luxury suites. Audley villages comprise owners who permanently reside on site within their own private homes but also host external customers. As our Restaurant Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the smooth running of Audley villages, supervising the team to ensure that Audley Owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience. You will ensure the team adheres to legislative requirements such as COSHH, Fire safety, Health & Safety, and Safeguarding of our owners. You will maintain high standards of comfort, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout the bistro, restaurant, and customer areas.
You will set and maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and be equipped to deal with sudden employee shortages, being able to deputise in any job capacity. You will deal with complaints in a warm and empathetic way, as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Food and beverage management experience in a 4* or higher hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures, stock, wastage and par level control, rotas, and unexpected situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions.
- Hands-on and flexible approach to carry out a variety of tasks to meet the needs of the village.
