As Senior Strategic Destination Partnerships Lead, you'll own Audley's global destination partnership strategy and lead the most senior, highâvalue relationships with tourism boards and destination authorities worldwide. Operating at government, Câsuite and board level, you'll secure and govern multiâyear partnerships that deliver substantial commercial return, strengthen Audley's differentiation, and offset core marketing investment.
Responsibilities
- Set and lead global strategy: Define Audley's longâterm destination partnership vision, aligned to commercial growth, product differentiation and brand positioning.
- Represent Audley at the highest level: Act as Audley's most senior external representative with tourism ministries, national tourism organisations and destination executives, leveraging a strong global network to unlock strategic opportunities.
- Negotiate highâvalue agreements: Lead complex, multiâyear negotiations to secure cash investment, marketing coâfunding, coâcreated differentiation and product development that materially impact the P&L.
- Own financial performance: Deliver a multiâyear, sevenâfigure partnership income target, applying robust commercial modelling and ROI governance to ensure all partnerships meet strict financial thresholds.
- Influence and lead across the enterprise: Work closely with senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Finance, Trading and the US business, shaping integrated marketing activity and leading crossâfunctional teams to drive delivery and performance.
- Govern, measure and renew: Establish strong governance and performance frameworks, track results at executive level, and make clear, dataâled recommendations on continuation, renewal or exit to ensure longâterm strategic alignment.
Qualifications
- You're a commercially astute, globally connected leader with significant seniorâlevel experience in international tourism partnerships, destination strategy or strategic commercial development.
- You bring a strong track record of securing highâvalue, multiâyear agreementsâideally with government bodies or national tourism organisationsâand are confident operating at director, Câsuite and government level.
- Extensive experience leading international destination partnerships or strategic commercial relationships.
- A wellâestablished global network across tourism boards, destination authorities and senior industry stakeholders.
- Proven success negotiating complex, sevenâfigure commercial agreements with measurable ROI.
- Highly credible influencer with exceptional negotiation, relationshipâbuilding and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong strategic and financial acumen, with experience delivering enterpriseâlevel commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crossâfunctional initiatives across Product, Marketing and Finance.
- Clear, persuasive communicator, comfortable presenting to senior leadership, boards and government audiences.
