What you’ll be doing
- You will be responsible for growing the company’s market share with travel agents in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
- By using your extensive contacts in the industry, you will be expected to source new partnerships with independent travel agents and homeworkers, alongside nurturing relationships with existing accounts in your region.
- Work closely with the rest of the Audley trade team, showcasing your passion, enthusiasm and ideas for B2B business development and agent support at every opportunity.
- Represent Audley Travel in a field sales capacity “on the road” 3‑4 days per week, including some overseas travel and weekend work where necessary e.g. conferences and agent fam trips.
- Create and execute an efficient and effective call plan.
- Analyse trade performance data to help outline your account management strategy and future actions.
- Identify target travel agent partners in your region for onboarding and/or relationship development.
- Undertake productive sales meetings with targeted agents, delivering account development plans where appropriate.
- Work closely with all existing accounts in your region to understand how we can deliver best‑in‑class service and maintain their loyalty.
- Deliver a targeted and effective agent training plan incorporating online, virtual and in‑person opportunities.
- Assist in the planning and participate in Audley Travel’s trade events.
- Gather market intelligence and feedback to relevant stakeholders in the business.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of our competitor commercial proposition and industry trends.
About you
- You are an experienced Partnerships Manager within the travel industry.
- With extensive sales experience, you bring a proven track record of success in field sales and strategic territory management across the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
- A conscientious and self‑motivated individual who is results orientated and enjoys seeing tasks through to completion.
- Extensive contacts within the independent travel agency sector.
- Strong customer focus with a solid understanding of the value of Audley’s Trade and Partnership relationships.
- Confident communicating with a wide cross‑section of people from agency staff to business directors – excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Well‑travelled and well versed in at least some of Audley’s core destinations.
- Highly organized and proficient in prioritising workload with a methodical and systematic approach to work.
- Remains calm and level‑headed in pressurized situations.
- A reliable and flexible team player.
- Good understanding of Office 365 including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Salesforce would be highly beneficial.
- Ideally you would be based in the north east of England or southern Scotland.

- Having a valid driver’s license and owning a reliable vehicle are essential.
