The role
You’ll empower our Sales Consultants to deliver knowledgeable and accurate flight advice to our clients by providing support and training. You’ll assist with managing commercial airline accounts and supporting internally to work towards commercial revenue targets whilst providing services that minimise loss and errors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering aviation and airline product questions and queries from our sales teams
- Being available as a point of reference for airline product and routing questions via the helpdesk or in‑team
- Running reports during airline sale periods to identify opportunities for conversion of existing quotes
- Managing and processing all group bookings, providing advice on best options based on client priorities
- Analysing airline contract updates and announcements that arrive via our Airline Inbox. Deciding on relevance and implication and then communicating accordingly to the affected program.
- Monitoring out‑of‑date‑range flights, providing in‑team training and carrying out spot checking
- Consistently checking client itineraries at quote stage
- Periodically running reports to check all premium cabin bookings for margin dilution risks
- Design and deliver training sessions internally, shaped by both where you see team requirements and by their requests
- Work with airlines on external training to ensure content is personalised for Audley and relevant to teams
- Lead airport familiarisation trips, alongside our airline partners
- Build relationships with airlines within your regions to ensure effective communication, alongside the Aviation Commercial Manager.
- Managing airline accounts, hold meetings with airlines and support with arranging and coordinating in‑team training and airport visits.
- Assist with influencing and steering airline sales to maximise revenue with Audley tier 1 airline
- Work with fellow Aviation Product Executives to ensure you have excellent knowledge of our top tier airlines, with support from the Aviation Commercial Manager.
- In‑depth knowledge of airlines within your regions
About you
The role is fast paced and varied and requires managing high volumes of work so speed and the ability to prioritise is key. You will be confident and comfortable with using and analysing data. You will have a drive to provide support to others and build meaningful working relationships, supporting sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
Additional Experience required:
- A confident decision maker who is results driven and organised
- A passion for aviation and air product
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Numerically competent
- Good relationship management skills
- Ability to prioritise and time manage effectively
- Comfortable working with KPIs
- Good understanding of Office 365 including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
- GDS knowledge would be a distinct advantage
