We offer flexibility through hybrid working where you can split your time between one of our wonderful offices and remotely from home or elsewhere in the UK.

The role

As a Country Specialist, you will design and sell personalised, tailor-made trips to Audley Travel clients, providing exceptional service. You will handle the full sales and service cycle of a client’s journey, being their single point of contact throughout the process. This is a varied, challenging, and rewarding role working in a fast-paced sales environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Follow up on incoming and existing enquiries and contact clients, primarily over the phone, to establish their travel preferences and build relationships
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and high-quality itineraries, reflecting the client’s interests, and selecting appropriate flights, accommodation, and excursions
  • Use a variety of sales techniques and communication methods to convert enquiries into bookings
  • Take opportunities to upsell and switch sell to preferred products
  • Act as the single point of contact for clients from enquiry to post-travel
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and ground handling agents, suppliers, and the Product team

Audley Travel operates a 7-day week experience. You can expect to work mostly between 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with one evening per week and some weekends, with days off during the week. Rota’s are shared a quarter in advance.

You will be based at our Witney, Oxfordshire or Shepherds Bush, London office, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

About you

Passion for travel is essential! Whether you’ve traveled extensively or aspire to explore new countries and cultures, we want to hear from you. Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment and a drive for sales success are preferred. You should enjoy delivering great experiences and exceeding targets.

  • Ability to lead sales conversations via video, phone, and in person
  • Confident, articulate, and effective communicator
  • Proficient in Office365
  • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability
