This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, the role is based in our London office with a requirement of a minimum of 3 days in the office each week and some travel to our Witney office required.

The role: You will provide support to the Head of Commercial Finance through a critical phase for the finance team and wider Audley business with a focus on upcoming strategic and commercial projects at Audley. You will be part of the wider Commercial Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis team, working closely with members of the Group Executive Board and leaders in the business to serve as a highly valued business partner during this exciting period of development at Audley. Furthermore, you will also interface with professional advisers and consultants to the business, who will be supporting Audley’s strategic developments.

Key responsibilities include:

Group strategic development:

• Support strategic and commercial decisions through analysis and modelling.
• Provide financial support to business leaders in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Group.
• Support on high profile financial planning tasks such as refinancing and capital structure optimisation.

Performance reporting and analysis: To drive robust analysis, commercial support and financial rigour to the Group’s business performance to provide commentary of divisional performance and support commercial decision making in areas including, but not limited to:

• Analysis of sales funnel efficiency and sales productivity.
• Develop and execute divisional pricing and margin strategy.
• Client acquisition strategies and marketing cost efficiencies.

Support ongoing reporting and forecasting activities:

• Support the monthly reporting and compliance cycle, i.e., the production and delivery of data, analysis and PowerPoint presentations for key stakeholders (Board, Management, Lenders and Regulators).
• Maintain financial models to forecast financial performance including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for the Group.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis and management information requests.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Significant experience working in FP&A and/or Commercial Finance functions.
• Experience working in a private equity, M&A and/or transaction service environments is highly desirable.
• A detailed analytical and questioning approach.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce high quality and accurate work in demanding timescales.
• Self-starter, independent, proactively seeks out new opportunities to improve our business and ways of working.
• Dynamic, resilient, able to work at pace and under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Highly effective cross-functional collaborator with a strong commercial acumen.
