HR Business Partner – Fixed Term Contract (from May 2025 for minimum of 12 months) Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) + 15% bonus

The role

You’ll play a key role in shaping and implementing people strategies which align with business objectives and drive growth, collaborating closely with business leaders and acting as a trusted partner. Supporting the UK Sales and Service function, you’ll be responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, providing an effective and value-added people-focused service, while ensuring compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing proactive and expert HR advice to managers in the application of core HR policies, processes, terms and conditions ensuring alignment with employment law and best practice.
  • Advising and coaching managers on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to align business strategies with organisational goals.
  • Supporting managers with driving a culture of performance management ensuring consistent application of policies and processes.
  • Leading and supporting key HR projects including organisational change and growth initiatives.
  • Ensuring HR policies and processes remain up to date with UK employment law and industry best standards.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and the Talent Acquisition team to determine resourcing requirements and to plan and react accordingly in line with workforce planning and talent attraction strategies.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of competitive salary structures and pay frameworks that align with the company’s reward strategy and market benchmark.
  • Supporting the Internal Communications team with the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives which align with company values and goals.

What we are looking for:

You’ll be an experienced HR professional with a background of working alongside a team of HR Business Partners and collaborating with the wider HR functions, including Internal Communications, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition. With extensive hands-on experience in Employee Relations, you’ll confidently manage cases and be adept at balancing both reactive and proactive workloads, meeting changing deadlines, and ensuring critical processes—such as payroll checks—are completed efficiently.

Additional experience:

  • Proven and progressive strategic and operational experience in a HR business partnering role in a high growth, fast-paced and global company.
  • Up to date knowledge and depth of experience in managing employee relations cases.
  • An effective practitioner with a solid track record of delivering business results.
  • Experience of working with an HRIS with the ability to analyse and interpret people data.
  • Experience of working with business leaders to drive performance and engagement.
  • Able to lead and manage change effectively.
  • High level of engagement skills with the ability to build and influence key relationships across the business.
  • An effective and articulate communicator and listener with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Organised and flexible with the ability to prioritise a high level of workload and has an eye for detail.
  • Proactively explores HR and industry trends and keeps up to date with legislation changes, external factors and competitor activity.
