The predicted salary is between 13000 - 16000 £ per year.

This is a part time position for 22 hours per week, based on a working pattern of Sunday 10-6pm, Monday 9-530pm and Tuesday 9-530pm.

As part of the Global Travel team, you will have a general knowledge of all the destinations which Audley Travel offers. Using your sales and influencing skills, you will be able to research and recommend the most appropriate destination for our clients, as well as communicate the value of booking with us, creating advocacy for the Audley brand and our way of working from the outset.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, contacting clients to establish their preferences and requirements for their trip.
  • Using your own knowledge, and where necessary gaining feedback from our sales programmes, recommend suitable options for your client that show you have listened to their requirements.
  • Take ownership of all enquiries, acting as a single point of contact for that client from the moment they enquire up until they are passed into our sales teams.
  • Use a variety of sales techniques to move the general enquiry to a destination specific lead.
  • Ensure a high level of enquiry conversion through excellence in product knowledge, sales techniques, the quality of your interactions with clients, your level of service and your passion for Audley Travel and what we offer.
  • Attend client events as required and be a champion for Audley Travel's brand and values.

About you:

You will have prior experience working in a customer facing environment, delivering high levels of service, with broad experience within the Travel industry. You are a committed team player with a desire to work to the highest of standards.

Additional experience required:

  • Prior sales experience.
  • Able to analyse any potential issues and problem solve effectively.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and administration skills.
  • MS Office skills and familiarity with databases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines.
