The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Audley Travel operates a 7-day week experience for our clients. This role is based in our Witney, Oxfordshire office and it is a 37-hour full-time position, working either:

  • Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm and a fixed weekend shift pattern of Sunday from 10am-6pm each week, OR
  • 9am-6pm Tuesday, 9am-5:30pm Wednesday & Thursday, 9am-5pm on Friday and a fixed weekend shift pattern of Saturday from 10am-6pm each week. One of the weekday shifts will be an evening shift (11:30-8pm) each week.

To help you continue to plan your personal lives, we share these rotas one quarter in advance. Please note that a minimum of 3 days per week is required to be office based in our Witney office.

About The role: As part of the Global Travel team, you’ll have a general knowledge of all the destinations which Audley Travel offers and using your sales and influencing skills you’ll not only be able to research and recommend the most appropriate destination for our clients, you’ll also be able to communicate the value of booking with us, creating advocacy for the Audley brand and our way of working from the outset.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the enquiries, contact our clients to establish their preferences and requirements for their trip.
  • Using your own knowledge, and where necessary gaining feedback from our sales programmes, recommend suitable options for your client that show you have listened to their requirements.
  • Take ownership of all enquiries, acting as a single point of contact for that client from the moment they enquire up until they are passed into our sales teams.
  • Use a variety of sales techniques to move the general enquiry to a destination specific lead.
  • Ensure a high level of enquiry conversion through excellence in product knowledge, sales techniques, the quality of your interactions with clients, your level of service and your passion for Audley Travel and what we offer.
  • Attend client events as required and be a champion for Audley Travel’s brand and values.

About you: You will have prior experience working in a customer facing environment, delivering high levels of service, with broad experience within the Travel industry. You’re a committed team player with a desire to work to the highest of standards.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Attention to details and administration skills.
  • MS Office skills and familiarity with databases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
