The role
As the Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of inspiring and innovative product with a particular focus on Audley Private Concierge (APC) clients. You’ll ensure that as well as being market-leading, the product remains contractually compliant and commercially viable with a focus on mark-ups and profitability. You’ll ensure that product is well presented through all forms of documentation and client facing channels. You’ll be a pro-active and effective collaborator with both external and internal stakeholders across all destinations and source markets.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Strive to innovate and differentiate the Audley product offering, delivering unique, bespoke and exclusive product, which is market leading and inspires a desire to travel for the Audley client.
2. Push the boundaries of client experience by pro-actively and creatively seeking ways to improve the end-to-end journey.
3. Be mindful of the requirements of different clients and seek to develop suitable product accordingly.
4. Work with Regional Product Managers and the Operations team to ensure all Health and Safety, ESG and other compliance requirements are met when sourcing product.
5. Develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure we are working in partnership and under the best possible terms to procure sales and deliver inspirational travel services.
6. Promote a focus on product development and unique experiences with suppliers to encourage initiative and research.
7. Manage cross functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing APC and the needs of its clients.
8. Implement an effective communication plan and routinely engage with key stakeholders to share product updates and performance metrics.
9. Represent the Product Team in cross functional projects and procedural discussions to shape ways of working across all markets.
10. Uphold service level agreements for supplier delivery in destination with focus on APC clients.
11. Help to uphold service level agreements for supplier interaction including response times, product availability/choice and management of supplier failure issues with focus on APC clients.
12. Support supplier tender process in line with Audley procedure to ensure APC requirements are met and enhanced.
13. Commercialise relationships with hotel brands and third-party suppliers. Identify and engage with high end travel forums, trade shows, panel discussions and brand building opportunities to increase the profile of the APC offering.

What we’re looking for:

You will have experience in the tailor-made travel industry, with a strong understanding of key players and suppliers. Ideally, you will have worked with a specialist tour operator, global supplier, or DMC.

Additional experience:

• Have a commercial mindset with good analytical skills understanding the importance of profits/performance.
• Demonstrate creativity to help develop innovative product that delivers a unique and exclusive experience for Audley clients.
• Comfortable working within a matrix structure as part of a global team with multiple stakeholders at all different levels.
• A natural ‘brand ambassador’ with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build and influence key relationships both internally and externally.
• Ability to represent Audley to the highest professional standards at industry events, forums and trade shows domestically and internationally.
• Ability to successfully engage and work with a high-performing team in an inspirational and encouraging way.
• Adaptable to take on different tasks as necessary.
• Passionate and curious about keeping up to date and sharing the latest travel trends, new product and industry news.
• Dynamic relationship management and influencing skills.
• Approachable and committed to wider company engagement.
