The role As the Finance Systems Manager, you will serve as the key interface between the Finance and Technology teams. Your role will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the Finance system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance and Technology teams for all the Finance systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Enterprise Reporting user community and Technology teams for the reporting platform.
- Act as the primary technical support contact between the HR and Technology teams for the HR systems.
- Ensure the availability, performance, accuracy, and compliance of Finance and Reporting applications.
- Manage, prioritize, and fulfill service requests, incidents, and enhancements.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure alignment with ITIL-based service management processes.
- Monitor and validate key operational processes and reports integrated with Dynamics 365 Finance to ensure timely processing with accurate data.
- Collaborate with finance process owners to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers delivering application support.
- Lead and mentor the team to deliver maintenance and operational support of the Finance systems and enterprise reporting services.
- Responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the team through performance management, regular feedback, and coaching.
- Conduct 1-2-1s and quarterly performance reviews with team members to support development and training needs.
- Set and review objectives for the team and create development plans.
What we are looking for:
- You’ll have proven, hands-on experience managing finance systems, with in-depth expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- You will also have a strong track record of leading and supporting a team, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience managing technology vendors and third-party support providers.
- Solid understanding of IT service management principles, with experience managing the full service lifecycle (incident, problem, change) using frameworks such as ITIL.
- Background in finance, accounting, or finance-related business systems analysis.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, including Power Platform, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power BI, and Azure.
- Ability to translate finance process requirements into system solutions and support partners accordingly.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members to deliver high-quality support and service.
