The predicted salary is between 20 - 20 £ per hour.
You'll provide and lead on safe, effective nursing care for residents — meeting their physical and emotional needs in line with clinical best practice and regulatory standards, and acting as a role model who supports other staff to deliver excellent care.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality nursing care tailored to individual needs, including complex care such as wound care, catheter care and end-of-life support.
- Lead on person-centred care planning and reviews in collaboration with residents, families and external professionals.
- Administer and record medications accurately in line with policy.
- Comply with CIW/CQC and NMC standards, including infection control, safeguarding and clinical governance, completing clinical documentation, risk assessments and care plans to a high standard.
- Lead and delegate effectively on shift, attending and contributing to handovers, team meetings and multidisciplinary reviews.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and the wider healthcare team.
- Report clinical concerns, incidents or deterioration promptly, and support audits and quality checks to ensure clinical safety.
- Maintain your NMC registration and revalidation, and support the learning and development of care staff and students.
What you'll need
- NMC-registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with registration maintained and active.
- Previous experience in a care home or similar environment.
- Confidence managing medication and clinical needs.
- Strong team leadership and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS check, right to work in the UK, and Social Care Wales registration (for nurses in Wales).
Desirable
- Experience supporting staff training and mentoring.
- Willingness to complete further specialist training.
- Experience with electronic care systems.
