# Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)Bira Care HomesCefn LodgeFull time · 36 hours working night shiftsFrom £20.00 per hour## About the role## About the roleYou'll provide and lead on safe, effective nursing care for residents — meeting their physical and emotional needs in line with clinical best practice and regulatory standards, and acting as a role model who supports other staff to deliver excellent care.## What you'll do* Provide high-quality nursing care tailored to individual needs, including complex care such as wound care, catheter care and end-of-life support.* Lead on person-centred care planning and reviews in collaboration with residents, families and external professionals.* Administer and record medications accurately in line with policy.* Comply with CIW/CQC and NMC standards, including infection control, safeguarding and clinical governance, completing clinical documentation, risk assessments and care plans to a high standard.* Lead and delegate effectively on shift, attending and contributing to handovers, team meetings and multidisciplinary reviews.* Build positive relationships with residents, families and the wider healthcare team.* Report clinical concerns, incidents or deterioration promptly, and support audits and quality checks to ensure clinical safety.* Maintain your NMC registration and revalidation, and support the learning and development of care staff and students.## What you'll need* NMC-registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with registration maintained and active* Previous experience in a care home or similar environment* Confidence managing medication and clinical needs* Strong team leadership and communication skills* Enhanced DBS check, right to work in the UK, and Social Care Wales registration (for nurses in Wales)### Desirable* Experience supporting staff training and mentoring* Willingness to complete further specialist training* Experience with electronic care systems## Why Bira* Make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support, every day.* Champion dignity, compassion and choice in every interaction.* Join a culture where care is not just delivered — it's felt.## Apply for this roleTell us about yourself and attach your CV.
