# Care AssistantBira Care HomesRozelleFull time Β· 33Β£13.45 per hour## About the role## About the roleYou'll provide high-quality, person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans, regulatory requirements and Bira Care Homes' values β promoting wellbeing, independence and joy, every shift, every day.## What you'll do* Deliver high-quality care that respects the dignity and individuality of residents.* Support daily living needs including personal hygiene, mobility and meals, promoting independence and emotional wellbeing.* Follow CIW/CQC standards and RISCA/HSE regulations, and maintain accurate care documentation.* Adhere to infection control, safeguarding and medication procedures.* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals, reporting changes or concerns promptly to the senior team.* Take part in team meetings and effective handovers.* Keep the environment safe and clean, reporting hazards, accidents or near misses, and use equipment safely and in line with training.* Complete mandatory training and take part in supervisions, appraisals and reflective practice.## What you'll need* A compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team* Good communication and basic IT/documentation skills* Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK* Social Care Wales registration (for roles in Wales) or completion of the Care Certificate (for roles in England, if not already achieved)### Desirable* Level 2/3 Diploma in Health & Social Care* Previous experience in a care home or similar setting## Why Bira* Make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support, every day.* Champion dignity, compassion and choice in every interaction.* Join a culture where care is not just delivered β it's felt.## Apply for this roleTell us about yourself and attach your CV.
