# Activities CoordinatorBira Care HomesAshton ParkPart time Β· 30Β£13.45 per hour## About the role## About the roleYou'll plan, deliver and evaluate a range of meaningful activities and social opportunities for residents β promoting engagement, independence and wellbeing, and helping every resident feel connected and at home.## What you'll do* Develop activity plans tailored to residents' preferences, abilities and cultural backgrounds, adapting activities so everyone can take part.* Promote independence, dignity and joy in all your interactions with residents.* Complete and maintain accurate activity records, evaluations and risk assessments, ensuring every activity is safe and appropriate for residents' health conditions.* Comply with CIW/CQC and health and safety regulations, following infection control procedures and risk management plans.* Work with the care team to identify residents' needs and preferences, and liaise with families, volunteers and the community to enhance the activity offer.* Keep activity areas safe, clean and appropriately set up, reporting any incidents or hazards.* Reflect on feedback and continuously improve the activity programme.## What you'll need* Experience in planning or delivering group or one-to-one activities* Creativity, enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills* Ability to engage and motivate individuals with diverse needs* Good organisational and communication skills* Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK### Desirable* Experience working in a care home or with older people* A relevant qualification in activity provision or health and social care* Knowledge of dementia-friendly practices## Why Bira* Make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support, every day.* Champion dignity, compassion and choice in every interaction.* Join a culture where care is not just delivered β it's felt.## Apply for this roleTell us about yourself and attach your CV.
