Why This Role is Exciting:

AuditBoard is seeking a Deal Desk Manager, EMEA to join our Global Deal Desk team. The Deal Desk Manager, EMEA role is viewed as a trusted and recognized business partner to the Sales Field Organization. The Deal Desk Manager, EMEA will support all commercial-related activities including deal structuring and pricing, contract creation, review and approval for quotes, and providing support to the Sales Field team on AuditBoard’s quoting tools. Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert guidance to the Sales field and Customer Success in the areas of deal structuring, pricing, redlining and contract management. Participate in deal reviews with Sales/Sales Leadership to help drive Account-Level strategy on pricing/deal structuring.
  2. Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently and align with company policies.
  3. Review, interpret, and confirm contract terms and conditions; work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure all contracts are accurate. Verify compliance with internal policies.
  4. Responsible for drafting, modifying, and finalizing contracts including new, add-on, and upsell business for Cloud Subscription Services.
  5. Review and approve deals for AuditBoard customers and prospects.
  6. Anticipate issues and initiate actions to resolve them using professional judgment and concepts, company policies, and procedures.
  7. Deal with day-to-day queries from Sales and Account Management teams on AuditBoard’s quoting tools and/or CRM system. Participate in testing, as requested, to support quoting tool enhancements.
  8. Support Sales enablement through new hire training initiatives and ad hoc training requests as needed.
  9. Independently drive efficiency and process improvements. Support commercial projects on an as-needed basis.

Attributes for Successful Candidates:

  1. Requires a 4-year college degree.
  2. A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Deal Desk or Sales Operations in a SaaS company.
  3. A “Customer First” perspective and ethos.
  4. Experience supporting global / multinational customer and deals.
  5. Outstanding business partnering skills – able to interact positively with the Sales Field and influence business outcomes.
  6. Excellent understanding of most Deal Support/Commercial topics (pricing, deal structuring, contracting etc.); familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition policies a plus.
  7. Excellent understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
  8. The ability to acquire knowledge of our products and the value they provide to AuditBoard’s Customers.
  9. The ability to acquire a thorough understanding of AuditBoard’s corporate goals and objectives and consider these goals/objectives within the design of offers.
  10. Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines on a daily basis.

Preferred Skills

  1. Requires proficiency with computer applications, such as Windows, Excel, and Word and CRM systems – SFDC and CPQ experience a plus.
