Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Renewals Manager to join our dynamic Client Advisory Services team. This key individual contributor will play a vital role in maintaining market-leading retention rates and driving revenue growth. Our team is composed of individuals dedicated to customer loyalty and committed to bringing the right people together to secure and grow our revenue. The position is based in EMEA.

Why This Role is Exciting

As a Renewals Manager, you will focus on the closed-loop process of subscription renewals and the expansion of our current customer base. You will assist with quoting, revising, reporting, and closing renewal opportunities. Your expertise in forecasting retention rates and expansion, driving business processes, and managing heavy transaction workloads will be crucial in securing revenue and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contract Planning: Develop and implement strategic renewal plans, initiate processes 120 days before contract end, conduct account research, navigate complex contract structures, and ensure timely renewals.
  2. Negotiation & Collaboration: Negotiate terms and pricing, identify expansion opportunities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Deal Desk) for smooth renewal processes.
  3. Quoting and Documentation: Generate and deliver renewal quotes and order forms accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Contract Execution: Manage coordination and execution of amendments and renewal documents.
  5. Forecasting & Communication: Provide accurate rolling 180-day forecasts, update Salesforce and forecasting system, and ensure clear, professional communication with customers.
  6. Feedback & Improvement: Gather customer insights, identify risks, share feedback with relevant teams, and refine strategies for future renewals.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  1. Experience: Proven track record (3+ years) in SaaS renewals, sales, customer success, or account management, with experience in managing contract renewals and negotiations.
  2. Tech stack: Proficiency in advancing with various platforms (e.g., Salesforce, BoostUp, MixMax, Outreach, Gong, etc.), exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple renewals, and strong attention to detail.
  3. Analytical Skills: Ability to assess contract terms, identify upsell opportunities, and resolve issues proactively.
  4. Collaboration: Effective interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, and clear, concise communication.
  5. Time Management: Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Closing renewals on time and with a sense of urgency.
  6. Business Acumen: Understanding of key SaaS metrics and experience in forecasting revenue impacts, and optimizing renewals.
  7. Customer-Centric Mindset: Commitment to a seamless customer experience, anticipating needs, and aligning solutions with customer and company objectives.
  8. Detail-oriented mindset-the fine print, MSA, contract terms, and customer history-with a commitment to accuracy and quality in the documentation.
  9. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
  10. Self-motivated, proactive, and energetic team player.
  11. Bachelor\’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
