You’ll work as part of a collaborative Technology Risk function, supporting both Internal and External Audit engagements while contributing to broader advisory projects.
Key responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight to the Internal IT Audit portfolio in support of IT Risk Assurance across the UK.
- Collaboratively support the continued growth of Technology Risk as a service line.
- Collaboratively support the continued growth of IT Advisory opportunities.
- Support IT Risk Assurance colleagues in their business development and go-to-market activities to enable the growth of the IT Internal Audit service line.
- Provide line management to some more junior members of the team.
- Provide input to and leadership of initiatives and 'pillars' such as People, Growth, Quality and Operations.
- Provide leadership to the service line in conjunction with another existing Director in the team.
- Internal IT Audit portfolio leadership and oversight, including the Chief Audit Executive role for Internal IT Audits.
- Service line leadership alongside another existing Director.
- Proactively collaborate with the team to support practice and business development.
- Team line management.
- Demonstrable significant experience (i.e. 15 years+) of Internal IT Audit and Advisory services in the Big 4 or in Mid-Tier Firms, and also within Industry roles.
- Has a network that can be leveraged to support business development efforts and to support the continued growth of the service line.
- Significant experience in business development, both for own team and other teams (such as Risk Assurance).
- Significant experience in leading, managing, coaching and supporting the development of teams and junior team members as part of career pathways.
- Significant experience which is aligned to the firm's strategic priorities in areas such as People, Growth, Quality and Operations.
- Demonstrates a team-centric and people-focused ethos and behaviours.
