The predicted salary is between 85000 - 110000 £ per year.
£85,000 - £110,000 per annum depending on level of experience + 20/25% bonus. 5 days a week in the Canary Wharf, London offices.
Audit & Risk Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a NYSE-listed asset manager. Our client is one of the largest investment firms. This role will have a particular focus on its assets in the infrastructure and data sectors. This is a new role being created in the London office, reporting to the VP of Internal Audit.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the SOX implementation programmes for recent acquisitions, collaborating with teams internally and within the assets (businesses) themselves, as well as external auditors.
- Work closely with C-suite individuals and Finance leaders, building close relationships, acting as the ‘go to’ individual for all SOX-related concerns and facilitating the change from existing frameworks to SOX compliant versions.
- Exercise strong technical SOX accounting skills to advise assets, implement controls and remediate any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Manager or Director-level hire with a background in External Audit and an ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Have taken a lead role in a SOX implementation programme, either through a consulting firm or directly with a business.
- Not looking for candidates who have exclusively worked in Financial Services – Industrial and/or Commercial experience is essential for this role.
