Overview

Audit & Risk Recruitment have been engaged by a well-known, household name media company to recruit for a Legal Compliance Advisor, which will be part of their established and respected Risk Management function. The role is based in Birmingham City Centre with 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor and oversee key compliance areas (e.g., Anti-bribery & Corruption, Modern Slavery, Financial Crime and Tax) and conduct assurance activities.
  • Advise the business to remediate inefficiencies and support implementation of compliant policies and programmes.
  • Conduct horizon scanning to advise the business on upcoming changes to the legislative landscape and enable effective implementation of compliance policies.
  • Assist in the production of monthly reports for the Board.

Qualifications

  • Legal Compliance experience in a professional services or in-house environment—candidates from Financial Services will not be considered.
  • Holding a relevant qualification (e.g., ICA) or having a Law background is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and reporting writing skills.
  • Must be able to work from Birmingham city centre; 2 days per week in the office.

Salary

£35,000-£50,000
