Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with an extremely well-known tech business in their search for a Global Payments EMEA Audit Lead.

This is a newly created position to join their established Compliance function.

The business operates one of the world’s largest digital platforms, with a global user base spanning more than 150 markets.

With payments playing a key role in the monetisation of its products and services, the business operates a sophisticated global payments infrastructure within a highly regulated, fast-moving technology environment.

Based in London, this is a senior position, with responsibility for delivering financial regulatory, operational and compliance audits across a complex global payments’ environment.

The role offers significant international exposure, with up to 30% travel across EMEA, Southeast Asia and the Americas.

Working as part of the Global Compliance team, you will be responsible for planning and executing a portfolio of audits across the Global Payments business, with a particular focus on regulatory areas including AML/CTF, PSD2 and safeguarding, alongside broader operational and financial controls.

The successful candidate will have extensive Internal Audit experience gained within a Fintech or Financial Services environment, with specific experience delivering payments audits in Luxembourg.

You will need a deep understanding of UK and European regulatory requirements and experience auditing within a CSSF-regulated environment.

A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or CPA) is additionally required.
