Audit & Risk Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a top 10 firm to appoint an M&A Lead Advisory Manager in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to work closely with a highly experienced team on a broad range of mid-market transactions, with clear scope to build your profile, contribute to business development, and progress your career within a collaborative and ambitious environment. This role requires 3-5 days in office.

Key Requirements

  • You must hold ACA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience within M&A Lead Advisory
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform effectively under pressure
  • A proactive approach to supporting team growth and development

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of end-to-end M&A transactions, including disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings, and management buyouts
  • Prepare robust financial models, business plans, and transaction documentation
  • Conduct research to identify potential buyers and coordinate engagement processes
  • Project manage transactions, taking ownership of smaller deals and supporting on larger engagements
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
  • Contribute to business development activities, including pitch preparation and market engagement
  • Support the wider M&A team in enhancing its market presence and identifying new opportunities
  • Deliver clear and professional presentations to clients and stakeholders
