Audit & Risk Recruitment are working with a leading Media production company to help source a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Product Owner to join a major transformation project – a flagship global initiative. This is a permanent opportunity, offering long-term career development and the chance to make a lasting impact across international operations.
As the P2P Product Owner, you’ll lead the P2P workstream, driving the design, testing, training, and implementation of streamlined processes and solutions powered by SAP S/4HANA. Acting as the bridge between business units, IT teams, and stakeholders, you’ll ensure that system functionality is fully aligned with business needs. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a global transformation, offering the chance to collaborate with diverse teams worldwide while delivering best-in-class systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the needs of Business Units, Global Business Services, and Internal Controls to shape P2P solutions.
- Own and manage the product backlog – setting priorities, approving items, and defining release timelines.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Define and own P2P business processes, running workshops to capture and refine requirements.
- Translate requirements into solutions – preparing specifications, working with developers, and overseeing testing.
- Develop training materials and deliver sessions to empower key and end-users.
- Drive continuous improvement of system templates and processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the group.
- Support successful go-lives and adoption through change management and post-implementation support.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience as a P2P user or SAP (ECC/S/4HANA) implementer.
- At least 1 year as a Product Owner (or equivalent role e.g. Business analyst).
- Strong understanding of P2P processes in an SAP environment.
- Proven skills in system testing, training, and stakeholder communication.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (intermediate+).
- Willingness to travel regularly to Cologne (up to 25% of the time).
- Bonus: Experience with Jira, qTest, SAP Signavio, or multilingual abilities.
